Products and orders

Please review the product description, quantity, delivery address and order total before completing your purchase.

We aim to display our products accurately. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.

If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and refund any payment for products we cannot supply. We will not substitute products without your agreement.

Prices and payment

Product prices are displayed on our website. Please review the currency, delivery charges and total payable at checkout before placing your order.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout.

Dispatch and delivery

We ship from the North of Portugal, to destinations across Europe, including the United Kingdom, subject to availability for your address at checkout.

We normally dispatch orders within 2 business days, excluding weekends and Portuguese public holidays.

Delivery times vary by destination and delivery service. Dispatch time is separate from the time your parcel spends in transit. Contact us before ordering if you need delivery by a particular date.

If your parcel is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, contact hi@foodforthoughtproject.net so we can investigate and help resolve the issue. Your statutory delivery rights remain unaffected.

Returns and refunds

You may notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days after delivery and send the goods back within a further 14 calendar days.

Customers pay return postage for change-of-mind returns. Food for Thought covers necessary return costs for faulty, damaged or incorrect items.

Please read our Returns and Refunds policy for the full procedure, refund timings and return address.

Faulty goods and consumer rights

Products must match their description and meet applicable legal standards.

Where Portuguese law applies, new physical goods benefit from a three-year statutory conformity guarantee. Depending on the circumstances, your remedies may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or cancellation with a refund, as provided by law.

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer protections that apply to your purchase.

Product use and intellectual property

Our journals and workbooks are intended for personal reflection and self-development. They do not replace professional medical or psychological advice.

Purchasing a product does not transfer copyright or grant permission to reproduce or distribute its contents commercially, except as permitted by law.

Privacy

Please refer to our website’s Privacy Policy for information about how we handle personal data.

Questions and complaints

For questions about an order or to raise a complaint, email hi@foodforthoughtproject.net or write to the address above.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protections available under the law of their country of habitual residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version applicable when you place your order will govern that purchase.
