Refund policy

We hope you enjoy your Food for Thought products. If you need to return an item or something isn’t right, contact us at hi@foodforthoughtproject.net.

Changing your mind

You can cancel your purchase without giving a reason by notifying us within 14 calendar days after delivery. You then have a further 14 calendar days to send the items back.

Email us with your order number and the items you wish to return, or send a clear cancellation statement to the address below.

You are responsible for the direct cost of return postage for change-of-mind returns.

You may inspect your items as you would in a shop. Any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them, such as writing in a journal, may be deducted from your refund. Please package returns securely and retain proof of postage.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If an item is faulty, arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact hi@foodforthoughtproject.net with your order details and a description of the issue. Photos can help us resolve it.

Food for Thought covers the necessary return costs and will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your consumer rights. The 14-day change-of-mind period does not limit your rights regarding faulty or incorrect goods.

Refunds

For change-of-mind cancellations, we will reimburse you within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned items or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Refunds are made to your original payment method, unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee.

If you cancel your entire order, we also refund the original standard delivery charge. Additional charges for an upgraded delivery service are not refundable.
